Transparent pricing for every tree service

At Northern Axemen Tree Service, we believe in clear and honest pricing. Learn how we determine costs for our expert tree removal, pruning, and other services, ensuring you receive a fair and trustworthy estimate every time.

Understanding our pricing

Our pricing for tree services like removal or pruning is determined by several key factors. We aim for transparency, and our estimates reflect the unique requirements of each job. Our rates are based on an hourly scale, which can also be applied to day rates, taking into account the number of personnel and specialized equipment needed on site. We are always willing to work with you to meet your needs and budget.

Factors influencing your estimate:

  • Tree location: This is a significant factor. A tree in the middle of a field versus one precariously situated over a house will have a substantial impact on the cost. Difficult access also affects cleanup prices if material needs to be transported a long distance.
  • Cleanup options:
    • Full cleanup: The most comprehensive and typically the most expensive option, where all brush and wood are removed from your property.
    • Brush gone, wood left: A moderately priced option where we remove all brush, but leave the cut wood on your property for your use or disposal.
    • Take down and stage: The most economical option, where we fell the tree and stage the material for the homeowner to clean up.
  • Complexity of the job: A tree that can be felled from the ground in a forest is a very different job from one that needs to be climbed and completely rigged down section by section over a building. This difference alone can transform a quick job into a full day's work.
  • Material handling: The distance material needs to be dragged or the type of equipment required to remove it from the site also plays a role in the overall cost.

Our straightforward estimation process

Getting a price estimate from Northern Axemen Tree Service is a simple and transparent process designed to ensure you understand exactly what to expect.

Here's how it works:

  1. Initial call & site meeting: After your first call, we'll schedule a convenient time for a site meeting at your property. During this meeting, we'll discuss your expectations, assess the work to be done, address your budget, and develop a comprehensive plan.
  2. Proposal and breakdown: Once we have an agreed-upon scope of work and price, we'll prepare a detailed proposal. This document, sent via email, provides a clear breakdown of the pricing and ensures both parties have a precise understanding of the project.
  3. Scheduling the work: With the proposal approved, the final step is to set a date for the work to be completed at your convenience.
